Benefits supplement your income. There are different types of benefits, such as healthcare benefits, housing benefits, childcare benefits or child-related budget.

How can you receive a benefit?
To receive a benefit, you must go to My benefits from the tax authorities and apply for your benefits. On the tax authorities' benefits website there is an option to change your benefits and to stop your benefits. Jan de Belastingman is also happy to help you and guide you through the steps of applying and stopping them. But what benefits are there and when are you entitled to benefits? Jan de Belastingman has created a list for them.
When are benefits paid?
The benefits are usually paid out around the 20th of the month. But the payment dates may deviate from this by a few days. This can involve quite a bit of money, so it would be a shame to pass it up!

How can you stop benefits?
