Specific medical expenses

Threshold 1.65%

Medical costs above 1.65% of your threshold income are deductible (glasses, dentist, diet, aids).

Charitable donations

Above 1% threshold income

Regular donations: deductible above 1%, max 10% of threshold income. Periodic donations (5+ years): fully deductible.

Mortgage interest deduction

Max 37.48% (2025)

Interest on your primary residence mortgage is deductible. In 2026: max 37.56%.

Employment tax credit

Max EUR 5,532 (2025)

Automatic credit for employees. In 2026: max EUR 5,599. Phases out at higher income.

Annuity premium

13.3% of premium base

Alimony
